What is Organized Medicine?
Organized medicine is what happens when physicians — and the students, residents, and fellows who will soon join their ranks — unite to advocate for the profession and the patients they serve. Rather than navigating the complexities of healthcare policy alone, physicians in organized medicine speak with a collective voice that policymakers, legislators, and the public cannot ignore. The Arizona Medical Association has advanced this mission since 1892, working alongside policymakers and stakeholders to shape healthcare in Arizona. By joining now, physicians-in-training don't just benefit from that advocacy — they help drive it.

Resident & Fellow Section Governing Council
The Arizona Medical Association's Resident and Fellow Section serves as a forum for physicians in residency or fellowship to be actively involved in organized medicine. The section is led by a Governing Council elected by its membership — exceptional leaders ready to serve you and drive change in healthcare, organized medicine, and physician advocacy.
