About the Program
Launched in 1975, the Arizona Medical Association's Doctor of the Day program is an exclusive insider opportunity for members.
Each year, more than 60 physicians, residents, fellows, and medical students represent their profession and their patients at the Arizona State Capitol. Participants enjoy VIP treatment and, most importantly, they share the physician perspective and show policymakers the value of quality healthcare firsthand.
To be eligible for ArMA's Doctor of the Day program, you must be a current member with an active Arizona medical license. Physicians-in-training are also welcome to participate by shadowing a physician.
