The President's Award is a prestigious honor bestowed by the association's outgoing president to an individual who has provided invaluable support throughout their term.
Libby served as ArMA’s Chief Executive Officer for eight years before retiring last month. During her tenure, the organization made tremendous strides, from leading the physician community through the COVID-19 pandemic to addressing the state’s dire healthcare workforce shortage. Libby also spearheaded initiatives to strengthen ArMA’s governance model, expand the programs and resources it offers to members, and bolster its financial future through new revenue sources and investments. All the while, ArMA continued to serve as the largest, most effective physician advocate shaping healthcare policy at the Arizona State Capitol and beyond.
Libby’s leadership, which is defined by her inspiring vision for healthcare and unwavering commitment to physicians and patients, leaves an impressive legacy. Through her work at ArMA, she has made Arizona a better place to practice medicine and receive care.
