As Arizona Families for Vaccines’ Executive Director, Ashley has been instrumental in building a grassroots pro-vaccine movement and bringing families’ stories to the Arizona State Capitol. Her experience as a criminal lawyer and criminal justice advocate sparked her passion for legislative advocacy and, after having children of her own, realized that her expertise could benefit issues impacting children’s health in Arizona. Ashley also serves as SAFE’s Director of Legal Affairs, where she specializes in building partnerships and coalitions with diverse stakeholders. In this role, she translates legal jargon and legislation into accessible language for citizens, policymakers, and others, thereby empowering them to make informed decisions about their lives and communities.
