NEW Telemedicine Guides for Physicians and Patients

The Arizona Medical Association (ArMA) has created telemedicine guides for physicians and patients. These guides provide you with an in-depth look at implementing telemedicine within your practice and helping patients feel more comfortable with utilizing your telemedicine services. NEW Telemedicine Policies and Procedure Templates

As you have responded to the COVID-19 crisis, many practices have rapidly implemented telemedicine as a means of seeing patients.  Typically, a practice would have a long-term plan for rolling out a service such as this, with plenty of thought given to scheduling, referrals, billing, as well as the physical setting for the visits.   In many instances, telemedicine was introduced to your patients far ahead of expectations, and without the opportunity for thorough planning.

Because we realize telemedicine is a valuable tool which expands access to health care, and allows physicians to see patients even when they can't be physically present in the office, Practice Support is pleased to present ArMA members with a comprehensive set of telemedicine policies and procedures that can be tailored for use in your practice. To be clear, these are templates and MUST BE TAILORED TO YOUR PRACTICE.
