The Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons is pleased to present their second annual Society meeting. The mission of the Society is to provide the state of Arizona with a resource of highly skilled and expertly trained Board Certified Plastic Surgeons who are dedicated to protecting and maintaining the ultimate standard of art, science and true Plastic Surgery through medical safety and public education.

Our program committee, led by Drs. John Corey, Society President and Raman Mahabir, Society Vice President, has overseen the selection of expert moderators and panel participants who will provide an interactive educational experience for our attendees. In addition, our committee has invited the President of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Debra Johnson, and the President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Clyde Ishii to provide updates on national issues regarding the practice of Plastic Surgery.

Educational Objectives
Attendees will be able to:
• Identify current and emerging issues and advances affecting the diagnosis and delivery of treatment for plastic surgical problems and assess their potential practice applications.
• Incorporate into practice technical knowledge in state-of-the-art procedures and drug and medical device uses.
• Communicate current practice management and regulatory issues necessary for the efficient and safe delivery of patient care.
• Translate expanded knowledge into practice for the improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson and the Arizona Society of Plastic Surgeons.
